Pomerelle Mountain Resort

Pomerelle Mountain Resort is an amazing little hill that is family owned and operated. Pomerelle receives the most average snowfall in Idaho, often over 500 inches. It is one of the oldest ski areas in the western United States which began its operations in 1940. Pomerelle has long runs, night skiing and a great snowsport atmosphere.

Magic Mountain is a small local gem of a resort. The terrain has something to offer for all difficulty levels and is an excellent place to learn how to ski & ride. Soldier Mountain

In 2022 & 2023, Gunfighters from Mountain Home Air Force Base have taken over Soldier Mountain for a day of fun, team-building and resiliency on the slopes. For many of the men and women serving at Mtn Home AFB and their families, this marked their first experience skiing and snowboarding.
For the 2025 Mountain Home AFB day at Soldier, WAVES staff will be there to assist with the volume of lessons and help airmen conquer the slopes.
More than a thousand were in attendance in Feb 2023 and the need for instructors was immense. If you have experience and can help our airmen succeed on snow, please reach out to join our operation.
